Welcome to the 4th annual running of the Targa California. A 3 day back roads driving experience for classic cars 1975 and earlier * all makes and models.

 

This event is non competitive with no set start or completion times. You drive in a responsible manner enjoying the camaraderie of fellow sports car owners and the terrific scenery that Central California affords us. This event is sanctioned by NASA (click on their link to the left for more information and Registration for Targa California)

Starts Wednesday evening, April 11, at the Best Western Thousand Oaks, 75 W. Thousand Oaks Blvd, Thousand Oaks, 91360

Check in for the event from 7 pm till 10 pm. They have a special rate for the entrants. CALL them at (805) 497-3701 and mention Targa California. Park together in the adjacent lot.

Thursday April 12 7:00 am till 8:30 am. Final event check in at the Best Western Thousand Oaks

8:30 am (approximate) Drivers meeting and off we go!

Thursday April 12 7:00 pm till 9:00 Welcome Dinner at the Pioneer Museum in Paso Robles.

Saturday April 14: 8:30 am Driver meeting, more fun roads, then meet at the Estrella Warbird Museum/ Woodland Car Collection in Paso Robles. A fun car show will be held on the tarmac next to the warbirds. Following our tours of the museum, a Farewell Lunch is planned. Following our tours of the museum, a Farewell Lunch is planned.

Cost is $200 per entry. Each car will receive ONE event jacket, goodie bag, rally plaque, rally sticker, route book, one welcome and one farewell meal. Additional meals and items can be purchased at any time on the NASA site under the Targa California event page. One person per car needs to be a NASA member so we are covered by insurance.

Entry Deadline is March 15th or sooner if all spots fill up.

Sorry, no refunds after March 15th. This event runs rain, shine, snow, whatever. A handling charge will be assessed on refunds.

We are asking for donations to two very worthy foundations. Please read Remember Lisa and be generous! Our Porsche friend from down under left this world too soon. Lisa’s husband Mike is coming from Australia to join us and meet some of her friends in this event. Thank you!
