How much fun can you have with friends sharing their classic cars on some of the best roads California has to offer? If you want to find out, come join us for the 5th annual running of the Targa California.
NASA presents a three day non competitive low pressure event that takes you on a true adventure in motoring. There are no set start or finish times, timed sections, or competition. You drive at your own pace, following posted limits.
Open to 1975 and older models ONLY *, the Targa California starts in Glendale, Southern California April 11, 2013, then after winding our way over nearly 1000 miles of great sports car roads in three days, we end with a Farewell Lunch. We promise no mud stages this year!
Early event check in Days Inn, Glendale (information below)
5 pm till 7:30 pm. 8:30 pm till 10 pm- room to be announced at the hotel. Come early so we can have short lines on Thursday for the late comers
Check in for event at Days Inn; 6:30 am till 7:30 am (room to be announced at hotel).
Thursday lunch-on your own- but we are working on a special event
Thursday afternoon- late arrival registration at Adelaide Inn, Paso Robles (approx 4:30 pm till 6 pm- room to be announced at hotel)
Thursday evening- Welcome Dinner Estrella Warbird Museum in Paso Robles (included in entry for two people)
7:30- 8:00 am final registration at Adelaide Inn Paso Robles
8:00 a.m. Driver meeting at HQ hotel- Adelaide Inn Paso Robles. Cars out at 8:30 a.m.
Friday lunch – Canepa in Scotts Valley. (included in entry for two)
Friday evening – Monterey (open night- Monterey Hotels listed below)
Embassy Suites parking lot. East end near Chilis Restaurant. Driver meeting 8 a.m.
Early morning drive 8:30 a.m. till noon. Planned lunch at Fort Hunter Liggett (to be confirmed, but lunch is included with entry)
Route book, Targa Sticker and Rally plaques, goodie bag, ONE jacket. Welcome dinner, Museum tickets, Friday lunch, and Saturday farewell lunch included for BOTH car occupants.
If you have friends coming to join us, you will be able to buy extra meal tickets. $20 per person in advance for any of the three meals… Again, remember that two of every planned meal is included in your entry so this is only if you have more than one passenger or some pals who want to join for a meal but are not entered into the event!

* 1975 and older makes. This event is open to all types of cars and if your vehicle is a “continuation” model of a car produced in 1975, then you are eligible. Examples include Caterham 7′s, Porsche 911 to 1989, Datsun Z. We always consider something special, so if you think your car will qualify, send us a picture.
Terms and conditions: One person per car must be a NASA member. Membership fees are posted as part of the form.
Each entry must have a valid driver license,current registration, and proof of insurance. To enter Fort Hunter Liggett (US Army) property, we need to have id information (driver license/ dob/ proof of registration, and insurance) in advance of the event. You will also need to show this again at the entry to the Fort. Not sure who your co-driver will be? Give us all the possibilities in advance. Once your registration is received, we will forward you a form to fill out and return asap.
As this event fills up quickly, we implore you to get your entry in soon. We will cut off at 125 cars period.

Before March 1, 2013 – Event entry in full less $15 NASA admin fee. NASA membership has no refund and is good for 12 months from joining.
AFTER March 1 – March 25, 2013 – 50% of event entry and less $15 NASA admin fee.
AFTER March 25 – Sorry, no refund
